Built for Heavy Recoil
The Atlas 5H Heavy Duty BT35-LW17 bipod handles what lesser bipods cannot. Hatsan and B&T designed it for large-caliber rifles like the .338 Lapua. The wide footprint keeps your rifle planted. The apex-above-bore design cuts movement and helps you spot impacts. If your rifle weighs eighteen pounds or more, you need this level of support.
Mount It in Seconds
The BT35-LW17 attaches to any 1913 Picatinny rail. The included ADM-170-S quick-detach lever makes it tool-free. It fits both in-spec and out-of-spec rails. You get a secure lockup every time. Remove it just as fast when you switch platforms.
Five Leg Positions, Zero Compromise
Each leg deploys independently into five positions. Choose folded forward, 45 degrees forward, 90 degrees down, 45 degrees rearward, or fully folded back. Non-rotating legs stop the outer leg from twisting. That means you can preload the bipod for tighter groups. No wobble, no shifting, no wasted shots.
Cant and Pan Under Your Control
The Atlas 5H gives you roughly ±15 degrees of cant left and right. Lock it down once your rifle is level. The pan function adds 30 degrees of smooth rotation. Track moving targets without moving your body. The tension wheel adjusts from nearly free to fully locked. You decide how the rifle moves.
American-Made Durability
The body is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum. Mil-Spec Type III hard coat anodizing protects the finish. Critical components use heat-treated stainless steel. It weighs about 27.52 ounces—mass means stability. This bipod is designed, machined, and assembled in America. It is a permanent upgrade, not a disposable accessory.
Shooters Keep Saying the Same Thing
One reviewer switched from a Harris and called the Atlas a “huge improvement in rifle stability.” Another ran it on an AI AXSR in .338 Lapua. He praised how the tension wheel goes from “almost no resistance to completely locked down.” A third said it plainly: “If you’re serious about long range shooting, this bipod is the way to go.” Serious shooters do not argue about this one.
