Hatsan Proxima 5.5mm Underlever

A New Standard in Underlever Repeating Air Rifles

The Hatsan Proxima in 5.5mm (.22 caliber) represents a genuine breakthrough. We are delighted to offer it here at Nordic Airguns. This is not just another underlever rifle. Rather, it is the world’s first repeating gas piston air rifle. It combines fixed-barrel accuracy with multi-shot magazine capability. Hunters will appreciate quick follow-up shots on small game. Target shooters will value the consistency and precision. The Proxima changes the game for springer enthusiasts.

Vortex Gas Piston Power with Repeatable Accuracy

The Proxima features Hatsan’s patented Vortex gas piston system. This system delivers smooth, consistent power without spring torque. This 5.5mm model generates approximately 20 foot-pounds of energy. It achieves velocities around 220-230 m/s (720-750 fps). Consequently, you get ample power for pest control and small game hunting. The gas piston also allows extended cocking without spring fatigue. Therefore, you get reliable performance shot after shot. This holds true regardless of the conditions.

True Multi-Shot Capability with Included Magazines

The Proxima’s standout feature is its detachable rotary magazine system. This 5.5mm caliber gives you 12 shots per magazine. Two magazines are included as standard. The stock even features a dedicated storage slot for your spare. This clever design eliminates fumbling with loose pellets. You can stay focused on your target. The magazine system also includes an anti-dry-fire mechanism. This prevents firing on an empty magazine. As a result, it saves your piston from unnecessary stress. It is a truly well-thought-out system.

Precision Barrel and Premium Components for Accuracy

Nordic Airguns knows that power is nothing without precision. Fortunately, the Proxima delivers on both fronts. It features a precision rifled steel barrel. The barrel has a black chrome finish for corrosion resistance. The fixed-barrel underlever design ensures consistent lock-up. This eliminates the wear issues that can plague break barrels. In testing, the Proxima produced sub-1-inch groups at 45 yards. This demonstrates its capability for accurate field shooting. You can use the TruGlo fiber optic open sights. Alternatively, mount a scope on the combo rail. It includes both 11mm dovetail and Picatinny options.

Ergonomic Turkish Walnut Stock and Advanced Features

The Proxima is as beautiful as it is functional. It features a genuine Turkish walnut thumbhole stock. The stock includes an adjustable cheekpiece and ergonomic pistol grip. It also includes Hatsan’s SAS (Shock Absorber System). This significantly reduces vibration and protects your optics. The Quattro Trigger is a fully adjustable two-stage match trigger. You can customize the pull for a crisp, clean break. Three stock spacers let you adjust the length of pull. Therefore, this rifle fits shooters of all sizes comfortably.
