Hatsan 125 Sniper Vortex 6.35mm

The 6.35mm Sniper: Raw Power for the Serious Hunter

The Hatsan 125 Sniper Vortex in 6.35mm stands as one of the most powerful break-barrel air rifles on the market. Nordic Airguns proudly offers this Turkish-made powerhouse to Norwegian hunters and shooters who demand maximum stopping power. This is not a rifle for casual plinkers or young shooters. This is a purpose-built hunting tool that delivers devastating energy on target. The 125 Sniper’s reputation is built on its ability to take down small game with authority and reliability in the field.

Vortex Gas Piston: Smooth Power in Any Weather

The 125 Sniper features Hatsan’s innovative Vortex gas piston system, replacing traditional steel springs with a pneumatic cylinder . This system provides several critical advantages for serious shooters. You get smoother cocking and less vibration during the shot cycle. The gas piston performs consistently in cold weather, where traditional springs can lose power . You also get the ability to keep the rifle cocked for extended periods without losing velocity or damaging the mechanism. The result is a more consistent, reliable powerplant that outperforms traditional spring rifles in every way.

Devastating 6.35mm Caliber Performance

In 6.35mm (.25 caliber), this rifle achieves a maximum velocity of 750 FPS with lead pellets, generating up to 34 foot-pounds of muzzle energy . This power translates to approximately 31 foot-pounds of energy at the muzzle, with over 24 foot-pounds still retained at 40 yards . Hunters consistently report clean kills on rabbits, woodchucks, and other small game with proper shot placement . The heavy .25 caliber pellets retain energy effectively downrange, making this rifle effective beyond 50 yards with the right ammunition .

QuietEnergy Technology and Precision Barrel

The 125 Sniper Vortex incorporates Hatsan’s QuietEnergy (QE) system, which significantly reduces noise signature during shooting . This technology includes a fully shrouded barrel with an integrated sound moderator, reducing downrange noise by up to 50% . The precision-rifled German steel barrel ensures exceptional accuracy, with owners reporting quarter-sized groups at 50 yards . You can confidently take shots without announcing your presence to every animal in the vicinity. The integrated system also eliminates the need for bulky add-on moderators.

Superior Ergonomics for a Magnum Rifle

The 125 Sniper features a sophisticated synthetic stock designed for comfort during extended hunting sessions . The adjustable Monte Carlo cheekpiece and soft rubber inlays on the grip and forend provide a secure, comfortable hold in all conditions. The rifle includes the SAS shock absorber system, which significantly reduces felt recoil and vibration . The SAS system protects your optic and reduces shooter fatigue. The TRIOPAD butt system includes three stock spacers, allowing you to customize the length of pull for perfect fit .

Hunt-Ready with Premium Components

The 125 Sniper arrives as a complete package, ready for the field. The Quattro two-stage match trigger provides crisp, predictable performance . The rifle features TruGlo fiber optic sights for fast target acquisition in low light conditions . A combination 11mm and 22mm optics rail gives you flexible mounting options for your preferred scope. The package typically includes a 3-9×32 Optima scope with mounts, sling swivels, and a bipod . Many serious shooters choose to upgrade the included scope for enhanced optical clarity at longer ranges .
