Weihrauch HW50 S Air Rifle

German Engineering Excellence from Weihrauch

The Weihrauch HW50 S represents over seven decades of German airgun craftsmanship. Nordic Airguns proudly offers this legendary rifle to Norwegian shooters who appreciate quality and precision. This medium-weight sporting and training air rifle suits all types of leisure and sporting use for the whole family . The HW50 holds a special place in airgun history as Weihrauch’s first air rifle, first produced around 1950 . Today, it continues to deliver the solid construction and exceptional accuracy that have made Weihrauch a globally respected brand.

The Legendary Rekord Trigger for Pinpoint Accuracy

The HW50 S features Weihrauch’s world-famous Rekord two-stage match trigger . Many shooters consider this the finest sporting trigger available, offering a smooth first stage and a crisp, predictable release . This trigger transforms your shooting experience, giving you complete control over every shot. The automatic safety engages upon cocking, ensuring safe handling at all times . You simply push it off when ready to shoot, and the Rekord trigger handles the rest with precision.

Powerful Performance in a Manageable Package

The HW50 S delivers consistent power that makes it ideal for target shooting, pest control, and light hunting. In .177 caliber, you can expect velocities up to 840 fps, while the .22 caliber achieves around 600 fps . The rifle produces approximately 10.5 to 11.5 ft/lbs of muzzle energy depending on pellet choice . The 395mm precision-rifled barrel, manufactured in-house by Weihrauch, ensures outstanding accuracy . Testers consistently achieve 3/8-inch groups at 30 yards, proving this rifle’s capability .

Superior Build Quality and Timeless Design

Weihrauch constructs the HW50 S to last a lifetime. The polished metalwork features a deep, even blued finish that exudes quality . The ambidextrous beechwood stock provides comfortable shooting for both right and left-handed users . The ventilated rubber buttpad absorbs recoil and keeps the rifle stable during shooting . The rifle weighs just 3.1 kg and measures 1030mm overall, making it light and maneuverable for shooters of all ages . Open sights come as standard, with a hooded front sight and fully adjustable rear sight .

Versatile and Suitable for Every Shooter

The HW50 S is the perfect all-rounder for shooters of all abilities. Teenagers can cock it with relative ease, while experienced shooters appreciate its accuracy and consistency . The rifle accepts a scope via the 11mm dovetail rail, with three holes to accept a recoil arrester pin for secure mounting . Owners report excellent results with a wide variety of pellets, including JSB Express, QYS Streamline, and H&N Baracuda FT . This versatility makes the HW50 S a rifle you will reach for again and again.
