A New Era of Airgun Design
The FX DRS MK2 Walnut Compact has arrived at Nordic Airguns. It represents a monumental leap forward in PCP air rifle technology. This rifle builds on the phenomenal success of the original DRS platform. The MK2 version redefines what a compact, high-performance air rifle can achieve. It combines the warm, timeless aesthetic of a premium walnut stock with raw, uncompromising power. For the discerning shooter, this is the ultimate choice.
The Ingenious Air Cylinder Placement
FX has eliminated the bulky air cylinder found on most PCP rifles. This sleek, low-profile design places the 210cc air reservoir as a shroud around the barrel. The result is a clean, balanced rifle with the lines of a traditional sporting firearm. This significantly improves handling and maneuverability in the field. The rifle is a joy to carry during long hunting sessions. It also shoulders naturally for quick, instinctive shots.
Handcrafted Italian Walnut Stock
The renowned Italian stock maker Minelli has crafted the beautiful walnut stock. It is celebrated for its exceptional ergonomics and superior finish. The comfortable grip fits your hand perfectly. This enhances control and reduces fatigue during extended shooting sessions. When you hold this rifle, you are holding a piece of functional art. It is perfectly balanced and ready for action.
Powerful Performance with the New MK2 Plenum
The FX DRS MK2 is not just a pretty face. It is packed with the latest airgun technology. The new MK2 version comes with a larger 25cc High Power plenum as standard. This ensures a consistent and powerful air supply for every shot. You will notice the difference in velocity and energy. This rifle delivers hard-hitting performance that meets the demands of hunters and competitors alike.
Total Control with the AMP MKII Regulator
At the heart of this system lies the externally adjustable AMP MKII regulator. It allows you to fine-tune the air pressure to match your chosen ammunition. This delivers ultimate shot-to-shot consistency and pinpoint accuracy. You can also adjust the hammer spring preload by removing the stock. This gives you complete control over the rifle’s power and efficiency. This rifle is built to be tuned to your exact specifications.
The Revolutionary Superior STX Barrel
Accuracy is everything, and the FX DRS MK2 excels with the renowned Superior STX barrel system. This innovative system features a removable liner with rifling pressed from the outside. It creates an incredibly smooth internal surface that minimizes friction. This maximizes sealing around the pellet or slug for superior accuracy. One significant upgrade on the MK2 allows you to change the barrel liner without degassing the rifle. This makes caliber changes or maintenance quicker and easier than ever before.
Unmatched Precision and Control
Every aspect of the FX DRS MK2 is engineered for precision. It features a fully adjustable match-grade trigger. You can set the first and second stages exactly to your liking. This provides a clean, crisp break that enhances accuracy. The short-stroke side lever cocking action is incredibly smooth. It is a pleasure to cycle shot after shot.
Upgraded for Long-Range Shooting
The MK2 now comes standard with a 30 MOA Weaver/Picatinny scope rail. This is a crucial upgrade for long-range shooters. It allows for a greater scope adjustment range for long-distance shooting. The compact 500mm barrel keeps the total length at just 937mm. This rifle is exceptionally maneuverable in tight spaces. It does not sacrifice any of its long-range capabilities.
