Hatsan Mod 135QE Carnivore Big Bore | Nordic Airguns

The World’s First .30 Caliber Break Barrel

The Hatsan Mod 135QE Carnivore rewrites the rules of airgun engineering. It stands as the world’s first and only .30 caliber break barrel air rifle. This big bore powerhouse delivers a staggering 34 foot-pounds of muzzle energy. That puts it in a class entirely of its own.

For hunters and serious shooters, the Carnivore offers terminal performance you rarely see outside expensive PCP systems. Whether you need to take down medium-sized game or simply want to experience the thrill of big bore power, this rifle delivers without compromise. It redefines what you can expect from a traditional break barrel platform.

Massive Power from the Vortex Gas Piston

The Carnivore’s heart is Hatsan’s advanced Vortex gas piston system. This replaces traditional steel coil springs with a sealed nitrogen-charged gas ram. The benefits are immediate and significant.

You get smoother cocking and shooting. You eliminate spring torque entirely. The system never suffers from spring fatigue, even if you leave it cocked for hours. It also performs flawlessly in cold weather conditions. The result is a powerful and consistent shot cycle that maximizes the 7.62mm big bore’s potential. You can expect an impressive 590 feet per second with .30 caliber lead pellets. When you choose the Vortex-powered Carnivore from Nordic Airguns, you select reliability that spring-powered rifles simply cannot match.

Precision Barrel and QuietEnergy Technology

The Carnivore features a precision-rifled German steel barrel. This barrel ensures the accuracy you need to exploit the big bore’s formidable power. Hatsan also equipped the rifle with innovative QuietEnergy shrouded barrel technology. The integrated sound moderator makes the Carnivore approximately 50% quieter than a standard air rifle.

This reduced noise gives you a critical advantage in the field. It also helps when hunting in suburban environments where discretion matters. The 270mm barrel is choked for tight shot groups. The moderator does not compromise the rifle’s 45 joules of muzzle energy. Every shot hits with maximum authority. Accuracy, power, and stealth combine in a package that completely redefines the break barrel category.

Advanced Features for Superior Shooting Control

Hatsan packed the Carnivore with premium features that elevate your shooting experience. The Quattro 2-stage fully adjustable match trigger puts you in complete control. You can fine-tune the pull weight, first stage, second stage length, and travel. This personalization enhances accuracy and builds confidence with every shot.

The patented SAS Shock Absorber System significantly reduces felt recoil. It protects both you and any mounted optics from the Carnivore’s substantial energy output. The rifle also features a micro-adjustable green fiber optic rear sight. A red fiber optic front sight ensures precise aiming even in low-light conditions. Every shot feels smooth, controlled, and devastatingly accurate.

Stunning Turkish Walnut Stock with Customizable Fit

The Carnivore looks as powerful as it performs. It features a stunning ambidextrous Turkish walnut stock. An adjustable Monte Carlo comb helps you achieve a perfect cheek weld and sight alignment. The grip and forearm include decorative and functional checkering for secure handling.

The rubber butt pad works together with the SAS system to manage recoil effectively. This combination ensures a comfortable shooting experience even during extended sessions. The stock also includes sling swivel studs for convenient carrying in the field. The natural wood beauty and ergonomic design make the Carnivore a rifle you will be proud to own and shoot.
